ABSTRACT

Development of inhabitant increasing complexity bringing number of traffic be
promoted. Whereas traffic of system close on surfeited cause increasing more of traffic
number a big influential about traffic jam, it means increasing time and traveling
expense on the traffic system.
To know transportation problems so researcher get down the work study movement
traffic flow motor vehicle on the highway network east of Surabaya. This research take
3 route interconnect in East Surabaya.
From the observation result for 2 days gain value of time distance for route I = 13.27
minute ; route II = 8.83 minute ; route III = 11.28 minute.Value of V/C ratio for route I
0,31 ; route II have value 0,18 and value of route III 0,15. And value of level of service
indeks for route I = 0,44 : route II = 0,03 : route = 0,06. Corelation value between time
distance and V/C ratio for route I the best way use regression linier analysis with r value
= 0.52 ; Corelation value between time distance and V/C ratio for route II the best way
use regression polynomial second 2 analysis with r value = 0.2 ; Corelation value
between time distance and V/C ratio for route III the best way use regression
polynomial second 2 analysis with r value = 0.7
