KOMUNIKASI INTERNET OF THING (IoT) BERBASIS BLINK UNTUK PENGATURAN MESIN PEMBERI PAKAN IKAN TIPE TABUNG PUTAR
ABSTRACT
In Indonesia, most people carry out fish breeding due to some reasons. They may keep it in
the pond as a hobby or in the fish captivity. Basically, keeping fish requires special habitat
and intensive maintenance, particularly in relation to fish feeding which needs specific
treatment because the fish food cannot be easily distributed in the pond. In fact, rotten food
due to excessive provision will cause unhealthy water to fish. On the contrary, too few
foods will also disturb the fish health. For this reason, the researcher developed a system
of fish feeding by integrating BLYNK server. The system was composed of devices such as
encoder mechanical sensor, ESP8266, driver motor DC, and food container. ESP8266
serves as the control unit of the whole system. In this research, ESP8266 device has two
architectural designs namely tensilica and Wi-Fi-AP. Both architectures are helpful in
internet data connection and digital data collection embedded in the system. The result of
designing the food container type obtained the mass of food about 0 – 3 grams in one
cycle. Meanwhile, the result of testing the rotation of DC motor got the accuracy data by
80% measured from pre-installation of capacitor and flywheel diode. In terms of
connection test, it was successful by 85%. In conclusion, the system of fish feeding based
on IoT must be connected to the internet data path so as to be well-operated.
